The owner , Hazel, was lovely to deal with and provided great customer service. The apartment has recently been refurbished & was beautifully clean & inviting, nestled amongst tropical gardens making you feel like you're in the rainforest. Set at the back of Palm Cove, the apartments are out of the rush & traffic? We loved breakfast on the balcony overlooking the gardens, saw lots of wildlife including the beautiful Ullysees butterfly. Even though we were in a block of apartments we had our privacy. The amenities were great, 5 adults didn't feel cramped. We would definitely revisit.

Well appointed and comfortable 3-bedroom apartment with poolside views and green aspect from balcony makes this the perfect relaxing location for a sunshine break. Love the use of the electric BBQ on the balcony, full size fridge / freezer and two TVs.

In total 6 of us stayed at the unit, 3 adults & 3 teen children. The unit was clean, modern, spacious & equipped with all the facilities that we required for our 10 nite stay. The view overlooking the pool & trees was very pretty, lots of different wildlife & birds to be seen from the balcony at different times. Overall I would highly recommend this unit, Hazel the owner was very prompt in her communication to me & all details to access the property, we look forward to going back next year! Thanks Hazel

My family recently stayed at the Blue Cowrie apartment in Palm Cove and loved it! The apartment was very spacious, clean and modern. The resort facilities very perfect and we were on walking distance of everything palm cove has to offer. We loved our stay and will be returning for sure!

This was an excellent location. Blue Cowrie was in walking access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The apartment was spacious for our family. Our boys (8 & 12) enjoyed listening and looking for birds off the balcony. Great communication with Hazel. We appreciated that very much. Would recommend this apartment for a nice relaxing stay.

This was a fantastic apartment. Spacious, clean and well furnished, the apartment had everything we needed. The pool was lovely!

Great place & well equipped kitchen, nice BBQ & great pool. Weather so so but all trips to Barrier Reef, Atherton, Skyrail, Port Douglas were all very nice & very enjoyable.

A very nice stay & outside BBQ on the balcony was great – basically every meal was cooked outside. Great apartment & location – will definitely stay again & recomm

We have stayed at blue cowrie several times over the years and always have a wonderful time. The apartment has had a great update since our last visit. The large pool is just at the bottom of the building and being able to watch the kids in the pool from the apartment balcony is a bonus. We were often able to have the pool to ourselves which was terrific to get a break from the hustle and bustle of Palm cove beach which is also just a few minute walk away. We will be back again.

We recently spent a fabulous 10 days at Blue Cowrie in central Palm Cove. the location was perfect and walking distance to excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. The apartment was spotlessly clean with great cooking and dining facilities. the two bathrooms were great when travelling with a family. The kids loved the pool and the weather was perfect. This is a great holiday apartment and we couldn't fault it.

My family and I recently spent a very relaxing 10 days at Blue Cowrie. The apartment has everything you need, it's clean and fresh with plenty of room to relax. The location is great too, walking distance to everything you need in Palm Cove and of course the kids loved the pool right outside the door. Highly recommend this apartment if you're looking for quality accommodation in Palm Cove. We'll be back!!

A beautiful outlook from this apartment – looking into tropical treetops!! We dined outside often to enjoy it all. Everything we needed was here – pool, superb weather, comfortable & relaxing amenities. Palm Cove is delightful & has so much to see in a really short distance. We would all love to come back again !

When we entered this spacious sunny & delightfully furnished apartment we knew we had made the right choice. We enjoyed the luxurious balcony, especially for sunny breakfasts. Everything is clean, well equipped & functional. We had many fantastic days seeing the unbelievable sights of FNQ & were surprised at how uncrowded this unique place – in Europe it would be so overcrowded. Thank you, Hazel & Andrew for providing this superb apartment & helping make our holiday in Palm Cove very special before our return to Germany after my sabbatical in Adelaide.

Definitely coming back to Blue Cowrie again if available. Loved the Zumba classes at the PPCC – ladies very welcoming – great “me time” while hubby took the kids .

We loved Blue Cowrie – a very relaxing time was had by us 2 adults & 3 kids. The pools were very popular & the weather was great. Now back to the cold in Melbourne

We came from Darwin to get married. Fantastic facility for our little family & all in all we loved the apartment & Palm Cove – so much so that we extended our stay for an extra week !!

This really large apartment is perfect for a large family like ours. It was quiet, spacious & the omplex has so many swimming spots – we didn’t manage to try them all. The apartment was fantastic & had all necessities & more – a great place to escape the FREEZING Melbourne winter!

We had a sensational time in the apartment. There’s always a nervous moment when first opening the door – “will it be nice?” In this case there was zero disappointment – super clean, huge & well-placed – we loved it ! We've had a great holiday – our kids had a ball in the pool & everyone is so friendly in Palm Cove. Palm Cove is a great location for going to the Daintree, the reef & the tablelands – we have found our way to some spectacular places.

We have had a great 9 days in this very comfortable & well equipped apartment. It's location was excellent & convenient for getting to all the tourist sights. We specifically came for the total solar eclipse on 14th Nov & enjoyed this amazing spectacle with many other local, national & international tourists on the beach at Palm Cove.

We have had the most restful & lovely time in your most comfortable & lovely apartment. We loved everything about it, very clean, love the 2 bathrooms & the lovely toiletries provided, the bed is very comfortable & the kitchen has everything one could need. Great balcony overlooking the fabulous pool & lovely gardens. Many thanks & we will come back.

What a wonderful holiday we have had. The weather has been good to us with sunshine every day. The apartment is VERY spacious & comfortable in a great location & handy to Palm Cove village. A hire car is necessary to do the "touristy things" & see the beautiful scenic coastline. Many thanks to the owners for making our stay a very pleasant one.

Had a fabulous time! Loved the apartment – the girls loved the beach theme & frangipanis & the boys loved the pay TV sports channels! Loved the tennis & bike hire and the walkway to the beach is just beautiful.

We had a lovely trip to FNQ - very relaxed and happy with your apartment once again. We had a lovely break with only a couple of days of rain - the heat compensates for the rain though !! I told my husband last night that all my sarongs are now washed, dried and ironed ready for the next FNQ holiday !!

Hi Hazel, I just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time in Palm Cove! We were thrilled with our accomodation and we appreciated all the extras including the little Christmas tree which greeted us upon our arrival. My daughter and her boyfriend live in a tiny room in Melbourne so they really enjoyed the spacious apartment, wrap around balcony, pool and the fitness centre. We did all the usual tourist activities but were happy to be able to relax and enjoy the terrific view from the apartment. I appreciated all your suggestions as we rented a car and self catered. Although it was hot, most places have air conditioning and we enjoyed the new experience of celebrating Christmas in the summer. We spent some time in Melbourne and then came home to a raging snowstorm the day after we arrived. We will never forget our amazing trip to "down under" and if we ever get back, we will be sure to look you up. Many thanks and Happy New Year!

We loved Palm Cove - the kids loved the Croc Pool & all the wildlife around. We had everything we needed at hand in the apartment & plenty of room for our group of 9. Great position, great weather & lovely apartment - we'll be back, again !!!

Thanks for the helpful hints about what to do for entertainment. We wouldn't have gone to Hartley's if it hadn't been recommended. Who knew a crocodile could become a $40,000 hand bag in NY! We love Palm Cove & will no doubt be back again.

We had a wonderful stay in Palm Cove - the Blue Cowrie accommodation really suited our family of 4, including 1 20 & 17 year old. We will not forget or Far North experience.

We had a very comfortable stay at Blue Cowrie - home away from home. We loved the Gold card extras at the Novotel. Kids enjoyed the crocodile pool & adults loved the sports centre and lap pool. Half price buffet breaky was great too. Thanks so much.

What better place to get away from the southern winter. The beautiful tropical gardens, the fine wining and dining and best of all sharing it with good friends.

We've had a very happy return to Palm Cove and to Blue Cowrie. Lots of golf, shopping and exploring. For art lovers, we recommend the Catholic Cathedral of St Monica in Cairns - a great wonderful surprise awaits you.

Great place to stay - Blue Cowrie has everything you need - especially lots of champagne glasses. The resort is great & we made good use of the complimentary PCCC Gold card for the lap pool and tennis courts.

The apartment exceeded all expectations and was a very comfortable base from which to enjoy & explore the natural & tourist attractions of the Cairns region. The pool & lush tropical garden made sitting on the balcony enjoying a wine (or 2!!) an even more pleasurable experience. We would not hesitate to recommend to all our southern friends & hope to return to Blue Cowrie again. Thank you !!

Stayed with Dirk & Julie & had the best holiday - great weather and location. Used all resort facilities & felt so comfortable in the apartment.

Had a wonderful time; played golf almost everyday with a choice from Palm Cove, Paradise Palms & Half Moon Bay at Yorkeys Knob. We also had a great trip to the tablelands - don't miss Gallo at Mareeba for delicious cheese and homemade chocs.

Had a heavenly holiday but a week is not enough - we'll stay longer next time. Blue Cowrie is a luxury home from home - everything you need, in a perfect tropical paradise.

Fantastic apartment - great for relaxing on our quiet days & great for sharing - lots of room. We did "the lot", a fun packed week - rafting, reef, quad bikes and the Daintree. Great holiday but alas - all too short.

Hi Hazel, We returned from our Cairns trip last night and have had a wonderful time. I was absolutely delighted with your apartment - it was much more than I had hoped for - the photos do not do it justice. The resort was lovely, but I thought the Spindle block was the best part of it and 229 the best located in the building. It really is huge inside and the veranda is fabulous with the pool on one side and the rainforest on the other side. Having the next door apartment for my brother's family was great, but we did all the communal living in your apartment. Drinks on the balcony overlooking the pool at dusk, is just superb!
